Differences Between Vitamix 7500 Vs A3500

Design and Convenience

My first impression about both blenders is they look truly awesome with a low-profile container along with a solid motor base. At the front of the base is the control panel, which consists of a dial along with some buttons. But with the Vitamix A3500, you have a touch screen display. Thus, there are no physical buttons but icons to touch and choose. The screen is easy to wipe clean, so no worries about leaving fingerprints all over it. And of course, having touch controls offers more convenience compared to pressing the buttons, right?

How about the exact dimensions?

The Vitamix 7500 has a dimension of 17.5 x 7.7 x 9.4 inches with a weight of 14 pounds. The other blender measures at 17 x 8 x 11 inches while weighing 13 pounds.

You can see that the specifications are roughly the same. Fortunately, both blenders have a compact footprint that can fit in tight corners well.

Vitamix A3500 is available in six colors, namely black, white, red, copper metal finish, brushed stainless steel finish, and black stainless steel finish. Meanwhile, the 7500 only provides three color options of black, white, and red.

Note that the prices may change with different colors.

You can tell that the Ascent 3500 is the winner due to many color options and more notably, the touch screen. This feature makes controlling the blending machine a breeze, even if you are an absolute beginner.

Capacity

Both Vitamix A3500 and 7500 come complete with a 64 oz transparent container with easy-to-read markings. But that of Vitamix A3500 is a smart container, which works with SELF-DETECT technology. It means when you attach the jar to the motor base, it will automatically detect the container and set the suitable speed. The 7500 blender does not offer such a feature. You need to adjust the speed yourself.

Thus, the A3500 certainly takes the win in this category.

Features and Accessories

I love that these two blenders offer versatile applications. In other words, you can use them to make a wide variety of recipes, such as frozen desserts, smoothies, batters, dough, sauces, dips and spreads. If you are a smoothie lover, you will love Vitamix blenders since they make delicious no-chunk smoothies in just a few minutes.

Have you ever thought of making hot soup without a stove?

Yes, Vitamix blenders can help you do that. And it is even more convenient with the A3500 due to the soup preset buttons.

In fact, the A3500 blender offers five preset programs, including hot soup, frozen desserts, smoothie, dips and spreads, as well as a self-cleaning button. If you spend much time in the kitchen, you will find these presets extremely useful. Unfortunately, its competitor comes with no preset buttons at all.

Another thing that Vitamix A3500 offers but not 7500 is the digital timer. This feature allows you to adjust the time as well as input the blending time manually. In addition, the programmed timer ensures the blender turns off automatically as soon as it finishes the task. That is not to mention the touch screen that I have already talked about in the design section. With the touch controls come extra convenience in operating the blending machine. But if you do not mind using the physical buttons, the A2500 is still worth your consideration.

The only thing that makes Vitamix 7500 superior is the motor, which makes 40% less noise compared to the A3500. Such a quiet motor comes in handy when you need to prepare food when your babies are sleeping. But do not mistake that its motor is more powerful than that of Ascent 3500. In fact, both blenders have 2.2 HP motors that can chop any toughest ingredients in no time. You are able to run the machine for a while without heating issues thanks to the cooling fan on the motor.

Some shared features of the Vitamix A3500 Vs 7500 include variable speed levels and a pulse function. Each product allows you to choose amongst 10 multiple speeds from 1 to 10 by turning the knob. Meanwhile, the pulse feature helps grind tough ingredients such as nuts. Also, it is useful when you are in a hurry; simply add the ingredients, press the button, and you are good to go.

Between Vitamix 7500 Vs A3500, the Vitamix A3500 continues to have an edge when it comes to warranty. It is backed with a full 10-year warranty, while its competitor comes with a 7-year warranty only. The longer, the more assured you feel when buying the product, right? But 7 years is quite a long time, so it should not be a deal-breaker.
