Which Is The Best Overall?
This Jura C65 vs E8 battle will gather the two popular two-cup coffee machines in one pound-for-pound comparison!
Overall, I prefer the Jura E8 over C65. It is expensive, but you will have a high-quality grind thanks to the Professional Aroma Grinder and Pulse Extraction Process technologies. You can expect the maximum flavor over short specialties.
The machine also offers all convenient functions such as mobile app integration, intelligent preheating or one-touch cleaning, etc.
The C65 is also worth considering. It is an affordable and elegant unit that adds beauty to my kitchen. In terms of function, you can adjust the strength of coffee while maintaining its natural flavor and aroma.

In case you are in a hurry, I have a brief comparison table for your reference.
Differences Between Jura C65 vs E8
Design & Convenience
Jura C65 vs E8 – The difference is firstly the color. The E8 is full-back, essential and easy to blend in every kitchen – from traditional to modern ones. The C65 – however, features an elegant combination of gloss black and matte platinum on the side, and it looks more imposing from the surroundings and matches modern decors.
Another difference is the control panel.
The E8 has an LCD menu to check the current settings and buttons along the side to operate the machine. Both are black, so I find it a little hard to figure out the text. Moreover, the stereo knob-style adjustment is somehow outdated.
Jura C65 also has an LCD control panel, but the text is white so that you can read the adjustments more easily. Plus, there is a one-touch system to make it quicker to rotate the internal tank and grinder.
All in all, when comparing Jura E8 vs C65, the latter is the winner for its design and convenience.
Wattages and Capacity
Both machines feature a water reservoir capacity of 64 ounces of water. It is not as much as other Jura units, such as Jura Z8 (81 ounces) and Jura Z9 (96 ounces), and I only recommend such a capacity for modest coffee drinkers.
With such a capacity, the two models can brew around six to ten ounces of coffee beans. Supposing that the volume of your drink is often from 0.5 ounces, you can prepare ten to fifteen small cups before you need to refill the tank.
Despite the same capacity and wattage, the E8 is a thirsty fish. It consumes so much water to make coffee and perform regular maintenance.
In general, wattages and capacity are not the factors for picking up the winner in this round.
Special Features and Accessories
The C65 and E8 both offer many exciting and convenient brewing features. However, there are several features that create the fan club for each machine.
Take the C65, for instance. I do prefer its built-in grinder, which improves the rich taste and aromas of the coffee. There are five grind levels, from french press to espresso, and it; so also allows changing the coffee strength per cup.
Before serving, you can keep the cup within the built-in warming tray of the machine and set up a preferred temperature.
The accessories of this machine include milk holders, and you will have to purchase maintenance products such as cleaning tablets or extra filters.
About the E8, it offers more barista coffee options than the C65 (17 vs 15). The machine uses the Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P) brewing technology to force water through the coffee grounds in short bursts. In the end, you can have deeper, more-creme, and better-temperature baristas.
The one-touch cleaning of the E8 also contributes to its high-quality and pure taste. Accordingly, it is possible to set the milk system to rinse 10 minutes after each milk preparation. Even more, you can integrate the Jura E8 with its mobile app to control the brewing and cleaning more easily!
The winner of this round is the E8 for its ability to create more coffee specialties that live up to the barista’s quality.
